How amazingly fortunate I am.
I got home from a pretty crap day and My two oldest kids -Kels and Jake decided to take me to dinner at Club 440. They purchased everything and I felt so cherished.
We talked and laughed talking about stories of when they were little. As I sat there eating Ahi Tuna appetizer I also felt lucky that I have children that have such a good palate for food.
Jake had bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with a cherry reduction sauce, apple coleslaw and mashed potatoes.
Kels had panko breaded chicken Marsala with tender asparagus and mashed potatoes.
I had their house specialty; Macaroni and cheese topped with crispy bacon and sautéed mushrooms.
I feel blessed and loved. Two amazing kids that make me feel like something went write as they were growing up. :))
