Cache Mountain

A week ago I was invited to go semi four-wheeling up a logging sort of road to the top of Cache Mountain. It was a long bumpy crazy ride where we had to get out of the vehicle a few times to move fallen trees out of our way.

After the bumpy, windy dusty drive we made it to the top of this quiet mountain. It was peaceful and most beautiful. I felt I was on top of the world.

I think in the last ten years, three wild fires have burnt thru here, but signs of life were poking up and the view was amazing. I can’t really get the view well with my phone camera…it turns hazy

How fun! I could settle in quietly with that lake any day. Thanks for sharing your fun adventure 🙂
