Yesterday, My partner decided we should shop for our upcoming trips.

We got a relatively early start and headed north.

First stop: Lake Oswego-Zupans. I have written about this most delectable grocery store in a prior store. You can get amazingly lost looking at the variety of things they offer.

Balsamic vinegar ranging in price from 5.00 a bottle to this minuscule hand labeled bottle for 69.00

We were nourished and headed into the big city to find parking. Being country folk now it’s fun venturing out to see all the hustle and bustle of people out shopping for the day.

Brooks Brothers next. I had never been into this store until a few months ago and I must say, you walk in there and you feel like your in a different world. Everything is so sophisticated and beautifully tailored. Brooke, the lady assisting us was so kind and helpful. Alan got a beautiful new outfit for fall.

We then headed across to Nordstroms. Now it may have been me, or a generally busy day for shopping. So many people and the clerks looked frazzled.

A few stores later we stopped at Macys. I felt I was finished but we came with a purpose in mind so I pushed on through. I finally found a cute dress and cute shoes.

We had a hard time deciding on shoes so I was sending kels pics to gather her input.

Task done and we both felt a bit weary well just worn out actually. We headed a few blocks north west and we found the Persian restaurant I have been wanting to try forever and a day.

The smells took me back into time as if I was sitting in my grandmothers house. The food was so delicious. More on this later.

It was a perfect end to a most perfect day!!!!
