Oregon bi-polar weather has returned. Despite the fact it rained hard all weekend I managed to plant some tomatoes, continue madly working on my statistics course, got an A on my poly-sci essay review and completed my first pottery lesson given by my father.
Yes, I was so happy when dad came to the house today with a brick of red clay. We went out to the “pot shop” as my better half as aptly named it, and worked with the clay. We laughed a lot and he shared some more stories with me about travels to Niagra falls and his new neighbors down the road. Mostly I found out how Sad it made him to leave his beautiful home in Tacoma. I am thankful he is close, but bittersweet for him I think.
